For those individuals whose lifestyle and activity has been altered due to arthritis and degeneration and have failed conservative management they may be candidates for reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cappellino performs minimally invasive procedures. This includes:

Anterior Hip Replacement

A newer procedure and muscle sparing approach allowing for faster rehabilitation and no post-operative precautions and limitations.

Knee Replacement

Minimally invasive knee surgery including PSI (Patient Specific Instrumentation) which allows for a more "custom fit approach".

Shoulder Replacement

In situations where there is advanced degeneration of the shoulder that is not responding to conservative measures including physical therapy, medications, and injections, patients may be candidates for reconstructive surgery. Dr. Cappellino performs both standard and reverse total shoulder reconstruction depending upon your evaluation and diagnosis.
